What started as a club in 2014 has grown into a formidable force across the Southeast. Open to all students, more than 40% of all Salem Academy students choose to participate in the Robotics program.
Over the next decade, 88% of companies say that they plan to add robotics to their businesses. Salem Academy provides students with cutting edge opportunities to learn coding, design, engineering principles and more.
In 2017, the robotics team competed in the First Tech Challenge World Championships and ranked in the top three percent. Today, Salem hosts two teams: The Sisters of the Motherboard and The Code Sisters.
