Salem Academy Robotics Team Shines at FIRST Tech Challenge Competition
On February 15, Salem Academy hosted a FIRST Tech Challenge robotics competition. Both of the Academy’s robotics teams received well-earned recognition during the competition.
Team #7444, Sisters of the Motherboard, received the Connect Award, honoring their efforts to build meaningful partnerships within the broader STEM community. Team #15333, Code Sisters, earned the Think Award for the clarity and thoroughness of their engineering documentation, which showcased how they designed and programmed their robot from the ground up. Additionally, Code Sisters took 1st place in the competition, securing them a spot in the NC State Championship, which was held on February 22nd.
The achievements of both teams reflect the creativity, collaboration, and determination that define Salem Academy’s robotics program. Congratulations to the Sisters of the Motherboard and Code Sisters–you’ve made Salem proud!
